Since the 1970s Oregon’s Sokol Blosser family has been creating world-class wines. Join second-generation winemaker Alex Sokol Blosser for a special dinner in Bel Private Dining Room on March 5, 2014 at 7pm. Alex, son of Sokol Blosser’s founders Susan and Bill, grew up working in the family vineyards and winery. After starting college in Texas, he realized his heart lay back on the family farm, so he returned to Oregon to finish his college degree and acquire more wine industry experience.
Limited to an exclusive 18 tickets, the night will begin with a reception at 7pm, including canapés and a celebratory glass of Sokol Blosser’s Evolution Sparkling wine, followed by a four-course wine-paired meal.
The intimate dinner will feature the vineyard’s Williamette Valley Pinot Gris, ’11 Dundee Hill Pinot Noir, ’08 Estate Cuvee Pinot Noir, ’10 Goosepen Pinot Noir, and ’11 Estate White Riesling, this winemaker’s dinner includes two exclusive wines that have been brought to Vancouver especially for this event.
